Workshop Description

Ready to level up your style on the dance floor? Join us for a special Ladies Styling and Footwork Workshop with the fabulous Jewellopen to all levels and welcoming both leaders and followers!

Whether you dance salsa, bachata, or both, this workshop is designed to help you move with confidence, control, and flair.

🌟 First Hour: Dive into body isolations, hip movement, and arm styling to sharpen your technique and elevate your expression.

🌟 Second Hour: Put it all together in a fun and sassy choreography you’ll perform with the group at the end. If you prefer to practice the choreo but not perform it, that’s great too!

What to bring:

Heels or dance shoes—whatever helps you feel your best and dance your fiercest!

Come solo or bring a friend—this is your time to shine, connect, and strut your stuff. Let’s make it a stylish afternoon to remember!

About your instructor Jewell: She is a passionate Salsa and Bachata dancer with a dynamic four-year journey in the Bay Area dance scene. From captaining SJSU’s Spartan Mambo salsa team to dancing with Sparchata and training with leading Bachata instructors, she’s built a solid foundation in Latin dance. Currently, she’s pushing her limits by training with competitive Salsa teams in San Francisco and performed with Tannia Cannarsa and Karol Flores’s Salsa ladies styling teams, adding a polished edge to her expertise. Jewell also embraces diverse dance styles like Heels and Hula, and loves connecting with the community through social dancing. She’s excited to share her knowledge and passion, believing that dance is a powerful tool for self-expression and connection.

Booking Information

  • Online Registration is Recommended: Please click on Sign In/Register at the top right hand corner of the website. Register by creating an account so you can book and pay for classes online. If you already have an account at MAC, just log in using your email and password. We do this to avoid congestions and facilitate the check-in process at the studio lobby. After you register and book a class, you will receive an email confirmation.

 

 

  • Face Mask Are Now Optional But Recommended.

 

  • For Class Rates and Packages please click hereAs a way to reward your commitment, the more classes you take the better price you receive.

 

  • If you cancel a booked reservation, it must be done so with a minimum of 24 hours before the class start time. If late-cancel or no show within the 24 hour window, the class reservation will still apply and be deducted from your account. Purchases are not refundable and are not transferrable to other programs or individuals.
 
  • Classes will start on time and doors will open 15 minutes before each class starts.

 

      What To Bring:

  • Please bring a face mask and your own bottled water. For your convenience, face masks and water bottles will be available for sale at the studio.

 

  • No special clothes are required; what feels comfortable for you is good. Please do come with a pair of smooth-soled shoes, either leather or suede will work on the dance floor (no rubber sole shoes).
