We’re excited to introduce our brand-new American-style Waltz class at Motion Arts Center! Come learn the grace and beauty of the waltz, the most common and beginner-friendly waltz style.

In this enchanting class, you’ll explore the elegance of six basic steps that form the foundation of the American waltz. Picture yourself moving seamlessly right-left-right in a delightful counterclockwise dance around the room. When you first learn how to waltz, you’ll find that it comes down to a few basic steps that will help you achieve that lighter-than-air look of a true professional.

So whether it’s to learn a new dance style, get ready for your first wedding dance as a couple or just because it sounds fun, there’s never been a better time to learn how to waltz! Class Description

Waltz Beginner Level Class: In this class you will learn the fundamentals of the American-style Waltz. The posture and embrace, the basic steps, timing, turns and how to lead/follow to feel comfortable dancing with a partner on the dance floor.

Booking Information

Online pre-registration is required for all in person classes. Please click on Sign In/Register at the top right hand corner of this website. By creating an account you can book and pay online for classes before arriving to the studio. This will save you time and help avoid congestions at the front desk. After you register and book a class, you will receive an email confirmation. If you already have an account at MAC, just log in using your email and password to book any class.

If you cancel a booked reservation, it must be done so with a minimum of 24 hours before the class start time. If late-cancel or no show within the 24 hour window, the class reservation will still apply and be deducted from your account. Purchases are not refundable and are not transferrable to other programs or individuals.
